St. Louis and its Arch are inextricably linked. Thanks to the newly reimagined Arch grounds, they are physically more connected than ever before.
And that’s just the beginning.
A new entrance and new museum make it an even more incredible destination. In fact, it’s so inviting that Meriwether Lewis and William Clark caught decided to find their way back all the way from the Pacific Northwest (and a couple centuries ago).
THEY ATE A LOT OF BREADCRUMBS
Subsequent episodes followed them through mountains, over plains and all over St. Louis before finally arriving at the storied monument to westward expansion.
WE USED EVERY PART OF THE SHOOT
In case you couldn’t tell, we did not in fact document the journey on location across the western United States. We did, however, embrace the spirit of our historically inaccurate characters and their improvisational talents to create multiple extensions of the campaign.
THEY HUNG AROUND TOWN FOR A WHILE
Transit posters directed tourists to the top of the Arch, and our fearless travelers eventually found their way to the Explore St. Louis Annual Meeting.
Bill and Meriwether seem to like their new environs and don’t intend to leave again any time soon.
